When only slippers and shoes were to be sold, why did they study medicine, the company opened out of the taunts, now the turnover of 20 crores

I had to do something since childhood so that people would recognize me from my work, so I left my doctorate and started an online business of footwear. These are the words of Dr. Simran Mann Sachdeva, a budding businesswoman and entrepreneur from Delhi.

Desire for doctor in law family

Raised in Chandigarh, Dr. Simran, 39, is the founder of Czarmax. Woman says in a special conversation with Bhaskar, 'Everyone in my family is associated with the field of law, but my mood was different from others since childhood.

As a child, I loved animals more, so I wanted to become a veterinary doctor, but when I did internship for some time after 12th, I did not enjoy Veterinary and did post graduation in Dental surgery from America. After seven years of medical studies, he also practiced in Delhi for three years.

The idea came from the problems of children

After having children, it was not possible to do medicine, so left that field. Spent five years on the upbringing of children. After that the emptiness began to creep in. Then thought that some more work should be done. As the kids were growing up, they had to buy shoes from America every few months because the quality shoes I wanted are not available in India.

Buying expensive shoes every three months also spoils the budget. Discussed this problem with Husband as well and then the idea came that why not start a footwear business. International quality shoes are not available in India, I tried to make same quality shoes here.

I read a lot of books before starting this work. Met a big business tycoon. My father-in-law is a big cloth merchant, made him his mentor and as a result of a lot of research, he started a startup named Kazarmax in 2017.

Work is on the lines of Local for Vocal

Most of the shoes and slippers in India are imported from outside, there are few manufacturing companies. We started work on the lines of Local for Vocal. All the goods were made here and sold here. It is my endeavor that people can get cheap and durable goods. Our footwear does not contain any animal products. Trying to make eco-friendly products. I started this business with 7 lakhs and today there is a turnover of 20 crores.

Doctor or business woman, which tag is closer to the heart

My kids often ask me mama, which tag do you like more business woman or doctor. Then I tell them both the works are dear to me. The only thing to always remember is that whatever degree you take, it doesn't go to waste. It is not necessary that if you are studying for one thing, then stick to it, according to your circumstances, make yourself according to the time.

Business was not my background, but I learned it with the help of books. I loved reading since childhood, so after studying, I built this online fort of business. Now I tell every woman that there are many turns in life, do not consider yourself inferior in them.

No study is wasted. Somewhere in life that work comes. So don't be upset about what you had to do and what you are doing. You do what you like. In which your mind gets peace. But I would tell every woman that do not keep yourself empty, always keep engaged in some productive and creative work.
